Strength & Fitness
These seven to eight week programs are open to student of all sports. This class takes into account individuals training age, gender differences, athletic abilities as well as sport specific qualities to prepare students for the game.
The Strength and Agility Program is dedicated to help athletes prepare themselves for the season ahead or at hand with a variety of different skills –
Build StrengthIncrease PowerAdvance CoordinationImprove BalanceEnhance Speed/EnduranceBoost Self-Confidence!This program can be designed for athletes rehabilitating injuries. The Instructors are professionals and can help with target the specific areas.
Structure:
The class is designed for 1 hour of weight lifting and 30 minutes of agility work to improve balance, speed and endurance. Students receive their own workout packet to record his or her progress. Upper and lower body lifting are done on separate days to have a successful workout and give the students body adequate recovery time.
Safety First:
This class is held in a group setting so student’s responsibility to safety is a must! Participants must be at least 13 years old to ensure maturity and safety to a young athletes body.
The age limit is nonnegotiable.
Parents are required to submit a current copy of the students physical with physician’s permission to participate in the class along with signing an injury release form.
At any time during the 8-weeks you get injured, you must inform the instructor. The instructor will be able to inform you if you should continue with the workout, if the workout needs to be adjusted or if you must postpone the program until further permission from a doctor. All these precautions are for your safety!
